Linked Module

The linked module allows you to link directly from your site to a series of pages hosted by Remedy Connect with your medical content.  You can customize the look and feel to match your current site and include the navigation of your site so that it appears seemless with your domain name.

Select Linked Module

Go to your Remedy Connect CMSDesk.  This will be given to you by the staff when your content module is initially purchased.  You can go to the start tab.  Fill out Steps 1 & 2.  On Step 3: Setup Option.

Then select the "Linked Module".

Input Your Template

The hardest part of this module is to setup the master page.  Once you select Linked Module, you will be able to access the Content tab of the CMSDesk.  The Master Page is where you will enter your HTML Template.

The main thing you need to do is keep the Web Part Zone for the main content.  So make sure you place the code

<cc1:CMSWebPartZone ID="zoneContent" runat="server" />

in the place where you want all the content to appear.

Stylesheet Adjustments

You can also can upload your specific stylesheet into the linked module as well.  To do this, you go to the Properties tab, and General section.  Click Edit next to the stylesheet, and you can paste your css.

Modifying Templates

If you need to adjust some of the HTML within our default sub pages, you can add html in the individual template.  To do this, go to the properties tab, and then "template".

You can then click "Clone template as Ad-Hoc".  This will then allow you to click "Edit Template Properties".

From the new window, you can go to the layout tab, and enter your HTML.  Be sure to keep the web part zone intact.

Link to the Module

You can preview your linked module by clicking the link near the top right, "Live Site".  Once it is as you like it matching your main site, you can simply link from your main site to the linked module.
